Overview

Summersurf Classic Surfcamp delivers more surf action than any other camp in Europe. Located directly behind the dunes in Carcans Plage, this German-run camp is designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in wave riding. With approximately 24 surf lessons spread across six days, it's the ultimate destination for dedicated surfers seeking maximum time in the water. The camp operates from May to September in a pine forest setting just 150 meters from the beach.

Accommodation

Stay in spacious canvas tents accommodating two guests each, complete with individual air mattresses. The camp is located at Camping Municipal de l'Océan, nestled in an expansive forest that provides natural shade and a tranquil atmosphere. Relax between sessions in hammocks and beanbags, or grab a longboard to cruise through Carcans Plage. Evening entertainment includes bar nights and surf cinema under the stars. Surf

With 12+ hours of professional instruction over six days (Sunday to Friday), the Classic Surfcamp focuses entirely on progression. Lessons run twice daily to maximize your wave count, while free equipment use from sunrise to sunset lets you practice on your own time. Carcans Plage offers consistent beach breaks with sandy bottoms ideal for all levels. Train your balance on slacklines and Indo boards between sessions, or take yoga classes to improve flexibility. This is pure, concentrated surf training for those serious about improving.
