Welcome to Beng Bengs Surf Camp, one of the most authentic surf experiences in the legendary Mentawai Islands. Located on Siberut Island in the heart of the Playgrounds region, this traditional Mentawai guesthouse sits directly on a pristine beachfront with access to some of the world's best waves. Named after the famous Beng Beng wave just minutes away, this camp offers an intimate connection to both the surf and local culture.

Accommodation

Stay in a beautiful 170 square meter traditional Mentawai timber house handcrafted by local artisans. The 4-bedroom guesthouse accommodates up to 12 guests in a mix of double rooms and shared rooms with bunk beds. All rooms feature air conditioning for comfortable rest between sessions. The open-air design lets you hear the waves breaking while you sleep, waking naturally with the rhythm of the ocean.

Access multiple world-class waves by speedboat, including the namesake Beng Beng - a consistent left-hander perfect for intermediate surfers, plus legendary breaks like Kandui, Rifles, Ebay, and Hideaways. Two surf sessions daily take you to the best conditions, whether you're seeking mellow walls or freight train barrels. The experienced local guides know every reef, tide, and wind pattern to maximize your time in perfect waves.
