Surf
Learn to surf on the mellow, beginner-friendly waves of Ukumehame Beach, a hidden gem about 20 minutes from Kihei and Lahaina. Known as "Thousand Peaks" for its numerous take-off zones, this spot offers consistent waves across a wide stretch of beach, meaning fewer crowds and more waves for you. With a maximum 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio and personalized coaching from professional female instructors, you'll progress from land lessons through wave selection to catching and riding your own waves. Hawaii's warm 75-80°F water means you'll surf in just a rash guard or swimsuit - no wetsuit needed!
