La Dune Surf Camp is a charming eco-friendly surf retreat nestled in the pine forests of Messanges, in France's legendary Landes region. Just 2 minutes from the beach by bike, this intimate villa offers the perfect blend of surf adventure and relaxed atmosphere. The camp sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, providing a peaceful haven where guests can enjoy both group experiences and private moments of tranquility.
Accommodation
The beautifully renovated villa features 5 spacious bedrooms accommodating up to 12 guests, with flexible configurations for couples, friends, or families. Three modern bathrooms with Italian showers ensure comfort for all. The heart of the home is its welcoming living space with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge with TV and WiFi. Outside, a south-facing terrace and lush garden with hammocks, loungers, and shaded areas create the perfect spot to unwind after a surf session.
Surf
Partnered with the renowned École de Surf La Dune - the only surf school located directly on the dune overlooking the beach - guests receive expert instruction from certified instructors with French Surfing Federation accreditation. The Messanges beach break offers consistent waves suitable for all levels, with lessons scheduled according to optimal tide conditions. The camp's prime location provides easy access to multiple surf spots along the Landes coast, from beginner-friendly peaks to more challenging barrels for experienced surfers.
